This beer is named after the sound that the drinker inevitably makes after the first sip, which is identical to the sound that a woman makes when she believes that her boyfriend is about to eat one of her tampons in the belief that it is a sweet.

Bassetlaw, a northern district of Nottinghamshire, is named after the perverse and amusing law of life that applies to Basset Hounds, most notably Fred Basset. A statue of his owner's legs stands as a war memorial in the town square, with a plaque reading "Typical!"
