This Tigerbaby doll was found in January, and bought through impulsive horror for 4 pounds. Clearly there hadn't been enough really common people in "The Discovery Store" over Christmas. To my horror, I heard one woman say that "it's the expressions, isn't it - that's what makes them special...", and it was a masterpiece of self-control that stopped me throwing the whole display at her.

To be fair, however, the shop assistant did eye the creatures with what I judged to be suspicion and fear.
